What can I explore with Naturescapes?
Discover real nature through our Ambience videos on YouTube, immersive VR videos, and the Naturescapes app for iPhone. This website brings those experiences together, alongside stories from the field and practical guides in the Journal.
Are the nature scenes and sounds AI-generated?
No. Our nature footage, audio and images come from real places. We combine our own work with content from other passionate nature recordists to share more of the natural world. We do not use AI-generated nature scenes or sounds.
Can I watch Naturescapes on my TV?
Yes. Open the Naturescapes YouTube channel in your TV’s YouTube app to watch our Ambience videos on a larger screen. Our mobile app is a separate experience for iPhone; there is currently no dedicated Naturescapes TV app.
How are the app, Ambience and VR different?
YouTube is a simple way to settle in with our longer Ambience videos. The iPhone app adds sound mixing, saved favourites, offline downloads and mindful tools. Our VR collection offers immersive 180° and 360° videos, with the viewing options explained on the VR page.
