Naturescapes is a window to the outdoors for iPhone, bringing together 100+ real-world nature escapes, immersive soundscapes and cinematic scenes. You can also create custom sound mixes, use guided meditations and breathing sessions, set sleep timers, run Pomodoro focus sessions, and download favourites for offline listening.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes. Download favourite soundscapes and scenes before you travel or lose connection, then listen without internet access.

Which devices can I use Naturescapes on?

Naturescapes is available for iPhone running iOS 18 or later. An Android version is not currently available. For the latest compatibility details, check the App Store listing before downloading.

How does the sound mixer feature work?

Choose sounds such as rain, rivers, birdsong, ocean waves, campfires, white noise and more, then adjust each volume level to build and save an atmosphere that suits your sleep, focus or relaxation routine.

What is the sleep timer, and how does it help with sleep?

Set a duration and Naturescapes will gently fade out playback when the timer ends. It lets you settle down with calming sound without leaving audio running throughout the night.

Can I mix the audio with other apps?

Yes. Enable audio mixing in Naturescapes settings, then balance its volume beneath music, podcasts or audiobooks. Playback behaviour can still depend on iOS and the other app.

Why is it recommended to use headphones with the immersive soundscapes?

Headphones reveal more of the stereo and spatial detail in the field recordings, which can make each environment feel more present and immersive. They are recommended, but not required.
