Naturescapes Studio Ltd. (we, us, or our) operates the Naturescapes app, this website and associated services. This policy explains how information is handled. App features and Apple services are described below; section 9 explains website visits, enquiries, media and browser storage separately.
1. Information We Collect
A name you enter for app personalisation stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. The app also uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand usage and Meta’s app integration to measure advertising and app acquisition. Depending on the SDK configuration, device permissions and applicable choices, these services can process app events such as first opens, sessions and purchase-related activity, app-instance or device identifiers, device and operating-system information, approximate location and technical connection data. These analytics are separate from optional personalisation. Apple may provide app analytics and crash reports under its own settings. With your explicit consent, the app may access mindful-minutes information in Apple Health; access is optional and can be withdrawn. We may receive your email address if you voluntarily subscribe to updates.
2. How We Use Information
Information is used to understand general usage patterns, improve the app, develop features such as mindfulness progress, respond to enquiries, and send updates or promotional messages when you have subscribed.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We use service providers to host the website, process enquiries, analyse app and website use, and measure advertising. Google receives information through Firebase and Google Analytics; Meta receives information through its app integration and, when you allow Marketing cookies on the website, the Meta Pixel. These providers may process identifiers and activity information under their own privacy terms. We do not send the name used for on-device app personalisation or contact-form message contents in our custom analytics events. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect our rights.
4. Data Security
We rely on Apple’s platform security and use commercially reasonable measures for information handled through our services. No method is completely secure. Health information is not stored on our servers and remains within Apple Health.
5. Your Rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Use Privacy choices on the website to accept, reject or withdraw optional website tracking. Device permissions and Apple’s controls govern access to device features and advertising identifiers. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict information, object to processing, or make a complaint to your data-protection authority. Contact support@naturescapes.app about information handled by us. Apple, Google and Meta also provide controls for information they hold.
6. Children’s Privacy
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 and will take steps to remove it if we become aware that it has been provided.
7. International Users
Naturescapes is available internationally. Our hosting, analytics and advertising providers may process information outside your country, subject to their terms and applicable transfer requirements. Website consent choices are remembered for up to 180 days unless you change or clear them. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any related legal or business requirements. Analytics retention depends on the relevant service and our configured retention settings. Contact support@naturescapes.app for information about retention or deletion requests.
8. Third-Party Services
The app integrates with Apple services such as Apple Health, Google Analytics for Firebase and Meta’s app measurement services. The website uses Framer and can load Google Analytics and Meta Pixel when you allow the relevant optional cookies. YouTube, the App Store and other linked services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. 9. Website Visits and Enquiries
Hosting and security
Our website is hosted by Framer. Hosting and media providers process the technical requests needed to deliver pages, images, audio and video to your browser. During an attack, Framer may use a short-lived security cookie to confirm that a browser has passed its security challenge.
Website analytics
We use Framer’s built-in analytics to understand visits and interactions. Framer states that its analytics use no cookies or persistent identifiers and provide anonymised reports. If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics measures website visits and activity, including App Store link clicks, using cookies and technical information such as browser and device details, page addresses, referrers and approximate location. If you allow Marketing, Meta Pixel measures page visits and App Store link clicks and can support advertising measurement and audiences. Meta may associate this information with other information it holds. Our custom click events include the page path, campaign label and App Store product-page identifier; they do not include contact-form contents or your search query. An App Store click measures interest, not a confirmed installation or purchase. Optional Google and Meta tags remain unloaded until you choose the relevant consent. You can reject optional tracking and still use the site, or change your choice at any time using Privacy choices.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address and message. We use that information to respond to and handle your enquiry. Framer provides the website’s native form service. If you contact us by email, your message is handled through the email services used to send and receive it.
Preferences stored in your browser
The website can save favourites, recently played scenes and their playback times, Business cart and currency choices, and privacy preferences in your browser. Session storage remembers whether you paused background motion. These preferences do not require a consumer account and remain on that browser unless you clear them. Use the relevant favourites, history or privacy controls, or your browser’s site-data settings, to manage saved information. Clearing site data also clears saved preferences. Business accounts and orders, when available, are described separately in the Business privacy notice.
Search and local video playback
Website search matches your query against a catalogue in your browser. On the full results page, the query can appear in the page address and browser history. If you choose a video in the local video player, the player uses a temporary browser URL to play that file on your device; the player does not upload the selected video to us.
YouTube and external services
YouTube thumbnails may be requested from Google’s image service before playback. Our scene player loads YouTube’s script and embedded player only after you choose Play. It uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed service, which can still process technical information. Links to YouTube, the App Store and other external services lead to services with their own privacy practices.
App privacy and website privacy
The App Store privacy label describes the iOS app’s reported practices. It does not describe the separate handling of website visits, contact messages or external services. Refer to the relevant sections of this policy and the permissions on your device for the features you use.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date.
