Getting started
Your first NatureScapes session
Choose one place, adjust the sound and try a short session before exploring more of the app.
NatureScapes editorial
Start with one thing you want from the next few minutes: a view to enjoy, a sound in the background or a short guided pause. You do not need to configure every feature before listening.
1. Choose a place or sound
Browse the app’s scenes or soundscapes, or use its map to explore by location. Choose something you want to hear rather than the recording you think you ought to find relaxing. A short listen is enough to decide whether to continue.
2. Set a comfortable background
Lower the volume until the sound fits your surroundings. Use headphones if you want to notice more detail and can do so comfortably. If you prefer to hear the room, use a speaker or leave the sound quiet. For screen-free listening, use background playback.
3. Add structure only if it is useful
A sleep timer can give the session an ending. A Pomodoro focus session can organize a period of work. Guided meditation or breathing can provide prompts. You can also leave all of those tools aside and simply enjoy the recording.
Explore a mix later
Once you have found a sound you like, try the mixer. Add one element at a time and adjust its level. Saved mixes and favorites make it easier to return without rebuilding the same setup. Exact free and Premium access is shown in the app.
End when it has served the moment
After a short session, pause and notice whether the setup suits you. Keep it, change it or choose quiet. Enjoying nature does not require a streak, a long session or a particular feeling at the end.
